Legacy

It Started with a Voice the World Couldn't Ignore.

Before there was a Dream Entertainment, there was Leon Patillo.

In the 1970s, Leon stepped onto stages across the U.S., Europe, and Japan as the lead vocalist for Santana — one of the most iconic bands of a generation. At the height of his career, he walked away from rock and roll to pioneer Contemporary Christian Music, sharing stages and friendships with Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, and Natalie Cole along the way.

He hosted his own show on TBN. He filled sanctuaries around the world. And somewhere in the middle of all of that, a legacy took shape — one that would reach his son Noel long before Noel ever stepped behind a set of turntables.

A Brother Who Carried the Torch.

If Leon lit the fire, Noel's brother Gabe Patillo carried it across the country.

For more than twenty years, Gabe served as a core member of TobyMac's Diverse City Band — one of the most celebrated ensembles in Christian music. He traveled the world doing what the Patillos do best: using music to move people.

Gabe's legacy lives on in every room Dream Entertainment steps into. His sound, his joy, and his example are woven into the way Noel approaches every wedding, every dance floor, every celebration.

Some People Find Their Calling. Noel Was Born Into His.

Music reached Noel early, and it never let go. The Patillo legacy — the musicianship, the ministry, the conviction that songs can move people — became part of who he was long before it became part of what he did.

Over more than seventeen years, he has become one of the Bay Area's most trusted DJ and MC voices — known not just for reading a room, but for owning one. His ability to move between eras, genres, and energy levels — from classic Motown and soul to today's hits — reflects a musical fluency that cannot be taught.

It is inherited.

As a trained MC, motivational speaker, and ordained wedding officiant, Noel approaches every event with the understanding that a wedding is not just a party. It is a milestone moment in a family's story. Every entrance, every first dance, every father-daughter moment deserves to be set with intention.

That is what Dream Entertainment delivers.

A Family Business, in Every Sense of the Word.

Dream Entertainment is not a company with employees. It is a family with a shared mission.

Noel's wife Meaka and their seven children are woven into every event we do — from setup and teardown to running the photo booth and keeping the night moving behind the scenes. His son, DJ Rell, has stepped fully into the family craft as one of our featured DJs, carrying the third generation of Patillo music forward on his own turntables.

When you book Dream Entertainment, you are not hiring a vendor. You are inviting a family to help you celebrate yours.

Rooted in Faith. Built for Everyone.

Noel's faith is not a footnote — it is the foundation. A born-again Christian with a background in youth ministry and years of experience as a wedding and funeral officiant, he brings a depth of care to every event that goes beyond entertainment.

That said, Dream Entertainment proudly serves couples of every faith, background, and tradition. From church ceremonies to courthouse celebrations, from multicultural weddings to non-religious receptions — every couple receives the same level of joy, professionalism, and commitment.

The Legacy Continues — One Celebration at a Time.

Leon Patillo once said that music is the language God uses to reach people when words are not enough. Gabe Patillo spent two decades proving that on stages across the world.

Noel and the Dream Entertainment family carry that forward — one wedding, one dance floor, one unforgettable night at a time.
